2.3.4. is complete bullshit
Part about prioritys will only lead to more flaming, fighiting and complication than acctualy helping to distribute loot.
Also for Sapph and KT, cmon, DKP is ment to be stacked so u get the loot u want.
Otherwise this rules are bassicly the same as ours, best if u just use them if ur leading the raids as rotfw raid leader.
No leader here makes his own rules, we make rules togheder. I will admit that i dont like some of our rules myself but i follow them anyway.
Rules u wish to apply were mostly already disccused by the other leaders, and togheder we decided that they are uneccesariy/pointless/unfair.

Naxx is a bullshit flamewar as you've seen lately, I refuse to make raids with the current way it's going, what I could do is just chop out all the points reductions, but I think that priority bidding will work... have you even considered the long term effects of this system? People will eventually have 2000 points, that's 200 boss kills, no new player could ever keep up while spending on the gear he needs. The system itself is bullshit, I am trying to work something around it, but thanks for the input anyway I'll remove 2.3.4

Also it was me and diedonetw who decided to lead the non-DKP raids in response to this system in the first place, however people are still so far gone and hung up on choosing a spec to roll on, and this in itself is bullshit, there are either rules or the bare minimum need before greed rules, tanks and healers for an encounter are on need, everything else is offspec. This is how it should be, but it's not.

Noone sees it this way though.

The reason dual-talent specialisation is creating these problems is because we only have naxx, and it's easy to carry noob players through it.

bush your rules are to harsh
you have proven some good leader qualities

but

leadershp has grown over your head
do not forget that this is a game, always was and always will be
the current rules that are set are good... ppl that raid more often got more points saved up so they can win the items they have been raiding for all this time
and for cutting of dkp points... no chance... mistakes happen, it also happen that u need to go afk all of a sudden-this is ok if it doesnt happen often
also remember that there are always some ppl in the raid that might not know what and how to do something very well

your rules could work if u had a constant group of the same 25 ppl raiding...

Alpha you are correct, the leadership responsibilites are getting to me.

I don't think I have the right to put such strict rules down for every player on the server who raids. As you say, it will only work effectively with the same 25 people raiding. Some people think even the plain DKP rules are too much, but when it comes to rolling for gear, you really see the greedy side of people rolling on just about anything, and then changing the spec or character they roll on all of a sudden.

I would also guess that it's these same people who do not want to join DKP raids, which I had not considered. The behaviour of players in DKP raids in the past has been pretty good already.

I am just tired of leading greed raids, but I still want to do naxx, and the conditions I am making are fueled by my dissatisfation in roll raids, completely unnecessary.

You guys have lead naxx alot and I am sure many raids before that too. I just wish I had as much tolerance and endurance to take over the task from you guys, but unfortunately I am losing my mind over it.

There are better ways to make ppl listen to u than cut their point, just start yelling on /rw, call those who screw up that they are rtards and threat withk kicks.
No i dont mean most of the things i say, BUT its a fact that ppl start listening more and watching what they do alot more after being yelled at Razz
I admit that i personaly hate leading raids even from BC, only raids i really enjoyed making were old NF guild raids where every1 listened to waht leader had to say and tryed best to do that.
Naxx is annoying, yes, but leading TBC raids was even more when alot of 70s were online XD

look bush... if u are tired of greedy ppl just say as a leader

1. no u can't bid on that item, cuz u bid for a different spec this id
2. no u can't bid on that item, cuz it is more appropriate for another class or it is ment for another spec(like spell power gear with hit rating is for dps)

basicly... explain the ppl what they are doing wrong and prevent something wrong to happen

and about the annoying part-don't tell me xD but i had a break from naxx now so i'll be back in action

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the advice.

I've also been searching for an easy dkp addon for exporting and importing points from the site, and ofc the 1 button we all want... "+10 DKP award to all in the raid", but I am having no such luck so far ;P They are all designed for guilds and/or don't like our server.
